CdSe/ZnS Semiconductor Quantum Dot Weathering 

Thecadmium based luminescent quantum dots are an attractive tool for bioimaging,but their toxicity requires surface passivation.  Fourier-transform emission-decay measurementswill be used to study the impact of photoinduced processes on CdSe/ZnSquantum dots. Specifically,
•Thewavelength dependence on the emission decay of bare CdSe/ZnS quantumdots.
•ChangesinCdSe/ZnS quantum dot emission during photoinduced weathering.
•ROSformation and consumption during CdSe/ZnS quantum dot weathering.
